Politicians from various political parties are paying tribute to former Roscommon Cathaoirleach, Tom Callaghan. He died yesterday at the age of 99 in Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
He was first elected as a Fine Gael councillor in 1979 and bowed out of politics 20 years later. His party colleague, Deputy Frank Feighan, is paying tribute to Tom, who lived in Rathmoyle, Castlerea:
