Local motorists are being advised to drive with care and caution following overnight spells of frost.
Frost, snow, ice and black ice remains on many local, regional and national roads.
County Longford is still under a status yellow low temperature/ ice warning while a status yellow snow-ice warning is in effect for Leitrim and Roscommon.
