Local Men’s Shed to open new premises with special community event

A local men's shed will hold a very special open day today to celebrate the launch of its new premises.

Killoe Men's Shed meets every Thursday night and offers a range of activities for members.

Events will start at 11 o'clock this morning with the opening ceremony set to take place at two o'clock this afternoon.

The group will also host a Christmas Draw later on this evening at The Olde Forge Bar in Killoe.

Sean Murray says there's a busy day of events planned.

He says a plaque will be unveiled in memory of deceased members at today's event.
