A Rooskey man whose wife has leukaemia and uses an oxygen machine, says repeated power outages are very concerning. A public meeting is taking place in Rooskey Community Centre in the Roscommon village tomorrow night at 7.30pm to discuss the problem.
The ESB says forestry and storms are to blame for the regular power-cuts in the Rooskey and surrounding area in recent months. Local man Enda Beirne says the outages are very worrying for vulnerable people:
