A local Green Party representative is calling for an upgrade of our rural transport system, which he says has 'not changed since Victorian times.' Leslie O'Hora made the comments following a negative experience on Expressway's Sligo-Dublin bus.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show today, he explained there were broken seats on the Route 23 bus when he used the service last week, and the toilets were out of order. He also pointed out there were no food or beverage facilities open during late-night journeys. Leslie O'Hora says more investment is needed:
