A local councillor says plans to develop facilities at Strokestown Park House is hugely positive news for the region. The Irish Heritage Trust received the planning permission last November to extend the existing woodland walk trail with a board walk, to create outdoor learning zones and the construction of a holistic eco-centre pavilion building.
They are now seeking consultancy services as part of the expansion plans at the popular local tourist attraction. Roscommon councillor Sean Moylan says the plans are a testament to the work being done by staff at Strokestown Park House:
