A local car dealership has been given the green light for a major development on its site.
Michael Moore Car Sales limited in Athlone applied for Planning Permission to construct a a detached single storey motor showroom building in October of last year.
In addition to the showroom building, which would be used for vehicle display, the application included permission for a customer area, toilet, and illuminated building signage.

Westmeath county planners approved the application with 7 conditions attached including a developer's contribution of €7,881 and that should damage be caused to footpaths, the applicant would be responsible.
