An award-winning Roscommon brewery has decided to shut down permanently due to the 'unsustainable costs' of operating its business. Black Donkey Brewing Ltd is based in Ballinlough and was founded in 2013 by husband and wife, Richard Siberry and Michaela Dillon. The brewery was Ireland's first to brew commercially with native wild yeast and has since been an ambassador for craft beer in the county.
