Local Air Corps member found dead at Dublin Aerodrome

A local member of the Irish Air Corps has been found dead.

Lieutenant Conal Sheeran was found in an unresponsive state by his colleagues at Casement Aerodrome in Baldonnel, Dublin.

The 30 year old from Westmeath joined the Defence Forces in 2012.

Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Seán Clancy has passed on his sympathies to his family and friends, adding that "the Air Corps and Óglaigh na hÉireann have lost a fine colleague and...friend".
