LISTEN: Shannonside locals on 13 days without power - as over 6,000 still have no electricity

Over 6,000 homes, farms and businesses in the Shannonside region remain without power this lunchtime.

Sinead Flood, from Edgeworthstown, has been told she won't have electricity back until Sunday night.

She says it's been very challenging for herself and their two children.

She told Eoghan Murphy how she has now been without power for almost 13 days.

Joanne Curnane, from Corraleehan, Ballinamore, has been forced to leave her home as she's still without power.

She's moved temporarily to her friend's house in Mohill - and isn't due to have power back until Friday.

She has been speaking to Eoghan Murphy.
