Around 100 people have attended a Mass in Castlecoote, Co Roscommon, today to mark the 40th anniversary of the brutal death of a Roscommon priest.
Fr Niall Molloy was killed in Richard and Therese Flynn's home in Clara, Co Offaly, on July 8th, 1985.
No one has ever been convicted of his killing.
Fr Molloy, 52, was a curate in Castlecoote at the time of his death.
This morning's anniversary Mass was said by Fr Ali Joe, the curate of Athleague and Fuerty Parish, who said Fr Molloy was a lovely community man.
