Four Roscommon councillors are rejecting Conor McGregor's possible candidacy for the presidency.
It's after the UFC star wrote to Roscommon County Council to ask them to nominate him for the election.
He needs four local authorities to back him if he's to get on the ballot paper.
Independent councillor Valerie Byrne, from Elphin, says she won't be supporting him:
Fianna Fáil councillor Sean Moylan, from Tulsk, has also turned McGregor down:
South Roscommon Fine Gael councillor, Domnick Connolly, also won't be backing McGregor:
Independent councillor Tom Crosby is also rejecting McGregor:
The cathaoirleach of the council, Liam Callaghan, has also confirmed he will be nominating his party's candidate, Heather Humphreys, from Fine Gael.
The 18 councillors on Roscommon County Council will decide whether to back McGregor, or any other candidate, in around 10 days' time.
