Lisa O'Rourke will be welcomed home to Castlerea in County Roscommon today after winning gold in the World Boxing Championships.
The boxer became world champion alongside fellow Irish competitor Amy Broadhurst in Istanbul in Turkey.
Lisa will be flying back to Ireland today and will arrive in Castlerea at 8 o'clock tonight for her homecoming celebration in the Square.

Castlerea Councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice says locals are very proud of her achievement.
