Liam Farrell's death could be upgraded to murder after exhumation, cold case expert reveals

Liam Farrell was found dead at the back of his house in Rooskey in January 2020, in a bloodied and bruised state.

A murder investigation will be launched into the suspicious death of a Leitrim man - if an exhumation reveals he was assaulted.

That's according to retired detective Alan Bailey, a former head of the Garda cold case unit.

The 87-year-old's body will be exhumed on Friday week, as part of a cold case probe.
