Leitrim residents still waiting on support after Storm Éowyn, says councillor

Some people in Co. Leitrim are still awaiting correspondence from the Department of Social Protection following Storm Éowyn.

Sinn Féin councillor Róisín Kenny says people have yet to receive correspondence in relation to their application for the Humanitarian Assistance Scheme.

Over 9,000 homes and businesses lost power in the county, following the devastating storm in January.

Cllr Kenny says people in Leitrim still feel forgotten about by the Government.
