89 new cases of Covid 19 have been confirmed as well as one further death.
There has now been a total of 1,777 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland.
As of midnight Tuesday 1 September, there has now been a total of 29,114 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.
Of the cases notified today 53 are in Dublin, 15 in Limerick, and the remaining 21 cases are Clare, Cork, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Leitrim, Longford, Meath, Offaly, Waterford, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow
The cases announced yesterday have been added to county totals with an increase of one in Roscommon and one in Longford bringing their total to 364 and 300 respectively.
Leitrim's total of 85 will increase by one tomorrow
