The Dáil has been told Co Leitrim needs to finally get a third-level institution.
Local Sinn Fein TD Martin Kenny raised the issue with Further and Higher Education Minister, James Lawless.
Deputy Kenny's appealing to the government to make it an "absolute priority".

He's calling for Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board to be given funding for the project:
