Leitrim man Liam Farrell's body to be exhumed next week
Liam Farrell was 87 when he died in January 2020

The body of Leitrim man Liam Farrell will be exhumed from Cloonmorris cemetery in Bornacoola next week.

His family has been informed the exhumation will take place on Friday, April 10th.

The 87-year-old was found dead in suspicious circumstances outside his house in Rooskey in January 2020.

Detective Superintendent Desmond McTiernan is leading a cold case investigation into his death - he spoke on RTE's CrimeCall last night.

Liam Farrell was drinking in two Rooskey pubs the night before he was found dead.
