A Leitrim councillor is calling for an urgent meeting with the Minister with responsibilty for forestry, Michael Healy Rae.
Fine Gael Cllr Enda McGloin is bringing a motion forward to Monday's Council meeting.
He's looking for the council to have an input into the task force around mapping electricity lines through forestry plantations within Co. Leitrim.
Cllr McGloin says it's important people do not experience similar power outages seen after Storm Éowyn in the future:
