Counties Leitrim and Longford are two of nine counties with no recorded road deaths so far this year.
It comes as an analysis found that road deaths have dropped by 19% this year compared to the same time in 2024.
Only nine counties -- which include Longford, Leitrim and Monaghan -- have not yet had a fatality.
Donegal has seen a higher fatality level this year at five road deaths since January 1st, with one resulting in the death of a man in his 60s over the weekend.
Gardaí are continuing to remind motorists to drive with caution.
