Kevin Bell Trust thanks family of Roscommon man for raising significant funds

Declan was described by his many friends as a gentleman and someone who will be sadly missed by anyone who met him.

The friends and family of a Roscommon man who died in a road traffic collision in New Zealand earlier this year are being thanked for raising a significant amount of money for a charity.

Declan Curly from Clonark lost his life in a crash in Wellington in New Zealand in February.

A special on-line fundraising page was established to help repatriate his body to Ireland for his funeral with £50,000 raised by the group for the Kevin bell Repatriation Trust.

The charity is now thanking Caolan Keegan and Declan's friends for raising the money which they say is 'greatly appreciated'.
