Irish Rail have issued a statement following significant delays on the Sligo to Dublin Connolly rail line this morning.
They say there was a major signalling fault between Sligo & Mullingar this morning.
No services operated between 06:10am and 08:50am between Mullingar & Sligo in either direction.

Services have now resumed, but subject to delays.
They have apologised to customers that were impacted by these delays.
