Gardaí are investigating two suspected arson attacks at Catholic Churches in County Westmeath over the weekend.
Officers were called to the scene of a fire at St James' Church in Kilbeggan in the early hours of Friday morning.
Then, emergency services were called to a separate fire at St Michael's Parish Church in Castletown Geoghegan at around 4:30am on the same day.
No injuries were reported at either site and investigations are ongoing.
