The vandalism of a religious statue in west Roscommon has been met with widespread criticism.
It's understood a statue of 'Our Lady' was knocked to the ground infront of the grotto in the Brusna area sometime on Wednesday night.
Councillor Michael Mulligan has condemned the act in a post on social media.
