An investigation has been launched following a plane crash near Abbeyshrule.
The incident occurred at approximately 10 o' clock yesterday morning.
It's understood the aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing 5 kilometres from Abbeyshrule airfield

The pilot escaped the incident without series injury and the wreckage has now been removed to the AAIU Wreckage Examination Facility in Gormanstown, Co.Meath
The Department of Transport have confirmed that a full report will be issued in due course.
