Investigation launched as body of man found in Sligo

Investigations are underway into the death of a man in Co. Sligo.

Shannonside FM understands the man is a native of Co. Roscommon

Gardai were alerted to a house in the Cartron area at around 8.30pm where they found the remains of the man aged in his 30's.

His death's being treated as 'unexplained' and the scene remains sealed off this morning pending the arrival of the State Pathologist and the Garda Technical Bureau.
