International trade tensions could delay living wage plans warns Seantor

It was announced by the previous government the national minimum wage would be replaced by a living wage from 2026.

Plans for the living wage could be pushed back by Government, due to international trade tensions says a Senator representing the Shannonside Northern Sound area.

Almost 195 thousand workers are earning the minimum wage here, which is currently 13 euro 50 an hour.
