Inquest of popular Frenchpark man who died last year to take place today
The inquest was held in Ballaghaderreen Courthouse yesterday

He was working at his home in the area just under a year ago - on July 18th - when a tragic accident happened.

The inquest is taking place today of a popular Frenchpark man who died in a freak accident last year.
It's taking place in Ballaghaderreen this afternoon.
50-year-old Pat McCrann ran a tyre business in Sheepwalk, Frenchpark, which was popular throughout the region.
He was working at his home in the area just under a year ago - on July 18th - when a tragic accident happened.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
At his funeral Mass in Frenchpark, Fr Micheál Donnelly remembered him as a "mountain of love".
His love of the motor industry was also noted, with keys to his van, a mobile phone and a screwdriver among the gifts brought up to the altar.
His inquest is taking place in the courthouse in Ballaghaderreen shortly after midday today.
This will determine the facts of his death, focusing on when, where and how he died.
