South Leitrim councillor Des Guckian is set to resign from Leitrim County Council.
The Annaduff man will formally quit tomorrow, on health grounds.
A replacement for Councillor Guckian is set to be announced in May. It's understood he has nominated someone to fill the position.

He has been an Independent councillor since 2014 and unsuccessfully contested several Dáil elections.
