Members of the Irish Farmers Association have ended their sit-in-protest at Bord Bia this evening.
The breaking news comes after agreement that a 'governance review' will take place into matters raised by the IFA in recent weeks.
Bord Bia's Chair Larry Murrin will remain as chair while the review takes place, but will not chair meetings during the review period.
Irish Farmers Journal political correspondent, Pat O'Toole is at Bord Bia headquarters:
The ending of the protest at Board Bia is welcome news. I want to commend the Farmers for their dedication and determination to protect food standards. This agreement gives space to work on the underlying issues and establish principles for future of the industry.
