A local, voluntary healthcare organisation is transferring its services to the HSE.
North West Parents & Friends is based in Sligo and Leitrim, and provides person-centred services and supports for people with disabilities and their families.
The HSE have agreed to run the facility from September 30th 2023, a decision made due to the impact the increasing costs have had on the organisation's ability to provide services.

The services being taken over by the HSE will be managed by Community Healthcare Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan, and Sligo Disability Services.
