The CEO of the HSE has said he was struck by Bryonny Sainsbury's parents, Chris and Alison.
On Wednesday, the HSE and Health Minister issued a joint public apology into the death of Bryonny which took place in 2021.
A recent meeting between the parties allowed the family to give first-hand accounts of the profound trauma endured by the family.
