Leitrim is one of the cheapest counties to buy a house in the country.
That's according to the CSO's latest Property Price Index which shows the median price in the county now stands at €195,000.
Prices in Longford, meanwhile have seen a growth to €200,000, which incidentally, is the same median price as Roscommon.

A 6 per cent rise has been reported in Dublin in the 12 months to July 2025, with prices outside Dublin up by 8.7 per cent compared with July 2024.
