House prices in county Leitrim have seen a sharp rise compared with this time last year.
That’s according to the latest CSO figures which were published this week.
The median asking price in county Leitrim has gone from €185,500 to €201,000 in the year to September.
This represents a 8.35 per cent increase.
Roscommon's median asking price has fallen from €255,000 to €223,500.
While prices now stand at €196,000 in Longford, having stood at €218,5000 in September 2024.
Nationally, house prices have increased by 7.5% with the median cost of a home nationally standing at €380,000.
