Hospital Action Committee demands clarity over Roscommon rehab unit

Roscommon Hospital Action Committee is calling for clarity on whether a long-promised rehab unit will be allocated funding this year.

Almost €8 million was approved for the unit in 2015, but it has never progressed.

But Junior Health Minister Kieran O'Donnell says it's still planned - and is included in a new spatial plan.

But HAC councillor Valerie Byrne wants further confirmation the Roscommon Hospital project will go ahead.
