A Sinn Féin councillor says he's hopeful cruiser traffic on the Shannon in Leitrim will increase this year.
Cllr Cormac Flynn brought forward a motion last year calling for a study to be carried out to examine the reasons for the sharp decline in cruiser traffic locally.
Fianna Fáil councillor Paddy Farrell claimed last summer that cruiser traffic almost halved on the Shannon in 2024.
