It's hoped a new leaseholder will take over a popular bar, restaurant and guesthouse in County Roscommon. Durkin's of Ballaghaderreen has been managed by Patrick Sharkey for the past five years. He recently announced on social media that he will end close his doors for the final time next month.
However, the Regan family who own the premises, have said the business would continue to operate within the hospitality sector. Former politician Eugene Murphy says it's vital for the town that the popular venue remains open:
