As he prepares to enter the ring again on the 27th of March, Stevie Mc Kenna has noted that his decision to turn professional and miss out on a possible opportunity to represent Ireland at the Olympics in Japan was the right decision.

Since making the call to go pro the "Hitman" has registered 7 knockout wins and will be looking to continue that form in March.

The Monaghan boxer could have been preparing for the re-scheduled Olympics this year, had he remained an amateur but the uncertainty as to whither the games will now happen or not due to Covid 19, has Stevie happy with his decision
