Planning permission has been granted for new apartments and an aparthotel in Carrick on Shannon. Enda McHugh and Caroline McHugh were granted planning for the development at Cannon House on Main Street. The plans would see the demolition of the previous extension and stone outbuilding at the back of Cannon House.
The developments consists of the construction of four residential apartments, an aparthotel with 17 studio apartments and a café with ancillary rooms. Carrick Chamber of Commerce President Finola Armstrong-McGuire has welcomed the plans:
