The Government has been criticised for failing to properly resource social housing audits in County Longford. It comes as figures show just 1.72% of social homes in the county have been audited by the local authority. In Westmeath the percentage is even lower at 1.31%.
The data was released to Sinn Féin TD Thomas Gould and shows that just 70 homes in the constituency have been audited. Sinn Féin TD Sorca Clarke says it's unacceptable:
