Gardaí urge public to secure equipment such as lawn mowers

As we come into a milder time of year, Athlone Gardaí are urging the public to secure any equipment such as lawn mowers around your home.

This advice comes following the theft of two ride-on lawn mowers in the Glasson area recently.

By leaving this equipment in a secure location, that is not visible from the road, you may avoid the theft of these machines.
