Close to €19,000 in cash has been seized by Gardaí in the search of a property in Roscommon yesterday.
As part of Operation Thor, Gardaí attached to the Roscommon/Longford Divisional drugs unit carried out a search of a house in the French Park area yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Operation Thor targets organised crime gangs and repeat offenders involved in burglaries.

Gardaí discovered €18,400 of cash in the course of the search which was then confiscated under the Money Laundering Act of 2010.
A man in his early 40s was arrested at the property and detained at Castlerea Garda station where he was released without charge yesterday evening.
