Gardai have arrested six individuals following an incident in Edgeworthstown last weekend.
An incident room had been set up at Granard garda station following what was described as a 'serious public order' incident last Sunday.
It's believed that a large group of youths were involved in the incident with another individual with footage of it being shared online.
Gardai have confirmed that a number of arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
A man in his 20s has also been charged with assault following the incident and a file is being prepared in respect of five juveniles under the Juvenile Diversion Programme as required by the Children Act 2001.
