It's emerged that no newly attested Gardaí have been allocated to Roscommon-Longford.
Earlier today, 21 new Gardaí were allocated to the north west region, which also includes Leitrim.
They are some of the 194 Gardaí that were sworn into service at the Garda College in Templemore.

However, Roscommon-Longford-Mayo is the only district without an appointment nationally.
