Gardaí in Boyle are investigating a report of a sheep kill in the Ballinameen area yesterday.
It's understood that 2 sheep out of 50 in-lamb ewes in the field were found dead after the attack.
Another 2 sheep were seriously injured, and 4 more were wounded.

The rest of the flock is said to be under veterinary supervision following the attack.
It's understood the incident has also been reported to the councils dog warden.
