Sligo Gardai are investigating alleged electoral fraud in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency which also includes parts of North Roscommon and south Donegal.
Reports today suggest the investigation relates to postal votes cast in the last general election.
Gardai say the matter remains the subject of an ongoing investigation.
