Gardai can now fine people who don't wear face masks

Gardai are to be given new powers to fine people for not wearing a face covering.

The Health Minister is to introduce a schedule of fines ranging form 20 to 100 euro for anyone found in breach of public health guidelines.

However there will not be any sanction for house parties.
