Gardaí in County Leitrim are appealing for information regarding a man missing from the Carrick-on-Shannon area since May 16th. Manuel D'Costa, an Indian national aged in his late forties, had only been in Ireland for one day when left a friend's house at 6am in the Leitrim Road area. He told friends he was going looking for work and could not be persuaded to return to the house and was reported missing at around nine o'clock that night. Manuel has a wife and three children at home in India while his brother has travelled from the UK to assist in the search.
