A man in his 40s has been found dead near the Roscommon/Sligo border.
His body was discovered in Monasteraden, about four miles outside Ballaghaderreen, on Monday.
Gardai said: "The deceased has been removed to the mortuary at Sligo Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will take place.

"The Coroner has been informed and the scene remains preserved.
"The results of the post-mortem will guide gardaí in determining the course of the investigation."
