A garda has been injured after responding to an incident in south Roscommon yesterday.
Gardaí arrested a man on suspicion of public order offences at a business near Athlone at around 4.30 yesterday afternoon.
The man, aged in his 30s, has since been charged and is due to appear before Athlone District Court at a later date.

In the course of the incident, a responding member of the gardaí received a number of non-life-threatening injuries.
